The Happy Teacher’s total liability for any claim howsoever shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by The Happy Teacher to the customer. The Happy Teacher shall not be liable for any consequential loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. The Happy Teacher cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the website. Your statutory rights are not affected by this statement.
The Happy Teacher endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, The Happy Teacher does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors.

Goods sold by The Happy Teacher are intended as classroom teaching aids and should only be used under strict adult supervision.
Goods sold by The Happy Teacher are neither toys nor suitable for children under 4 years of age.
The use or operation of any of the goods shall at all times be at the Customer’s own risk. The Customer acknowledges that in the event of any injury or damage resulting from the use of the goods it shall have no recourse in law or in equity against The Happy Teacher and that The Happy Teacher is in no way responsible for your failure to exercise due care and responsibility in the use or operation of the goods.

Standard delivery method is registered mail using Australia Post. Where a courier is required, shipping costs will be agreed with the customer prior to order confirmation.
Delivery of goods will take place within fourteen (14) days of costs being paid in full to The Happy Teacher.
The Happy Teacher takes all necessary steps to ensure that goods are carefully packaged and are sent from our warehouse in good condition. Upon receipt of goods, it is the Customer’s responsibility to examine the contents for any damage. If the Customer is not satisfied with the condition of the goods, the Customer shall complete a report with Australia Post. The Happy Teacher will not be responsible for goods damaged in transit but the Customer is free to contact us if we may be of any assistance in this process.
Any loss or damage to the goods after delivery to the Customer shall be solely of the Customer's own risk and expense.

The Happy Teacher will replace or refund any goods which are found to be faulty or not fit for purpose within 30 days of delivery. Returns after this period are at the discretion of The Happy Teacher.
The Customer prior to shipping any of the goods back to The Happy Teacher by way of return shall first obtain an authorisation from The Happy Teacher. Where authorisation is given the goods shall be returned to The Happy Teacher within 14 days of receipt of such authorisation in the original carton, carefully packaged and in saleable condition. In such event The Happy Teacher shall allow the Customer full credit less shipping costs. Any returns received by the Company after 7 days shall be accepted only at the discretion of The Happy Teacher.

All items are subject to availability. Where an alternative item cannot be found to meet the requirements of the Customer, The Happy Teacher will refund payment for those goods.

Every effort is made to ensure that this website is free from viruses and defects however, this cannot be guaranteed.
The Happy Teacher Ltd shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise as a result of any failure by you to protect your password or account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and account and any activities that occur under your account.
The Happy Teacher Ltd shall not be liable to any person for loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

If you have shopped with us we will hold your name, address, telephone number, email address. We will also hold the delivery address for your orders and the password information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections.
We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes; for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.
Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.
All the information we hold is used to improve your customer experience.
We also use the information to keep you up to date with The Happy Teacher; mailing catalogues and promotions and sending emails as appropriate.
We will never make our customer information available to other companies.

This website, its content and any contract brought into being as a result of using this site are governed by and construed in accordance with Australian Law.
